My last article as the labour reporter at @pressprogress.ca is about.... media layoffs! Earlier this month, Rogers closed six stations and laid off 230 radio workers across the country. In Vancouver, the layoffs hit a newsroom that had struggled for years to unionize.

I would add that it might be possible to replicate the biological process on a different non-meat substrate, but the LLMs that tech oligarchs are marketing as AI are nowhere in the realm of qualifying as such.
