Nope, my pens flow pretty well, so no real issues with drag. I have certain nibs I like better than others, and I use good paper to help. Some of my favorites are the Kaküno fountain pens which are not expensive and use ink cartridges that make it so easy to change the ink.

It is true that studies show this. But very few of my notes are written in cursive. I usually print my notes. The only place I regularly write in cursive is my journal, and that is just because I use fountain pens and it looks cool.

There is literally no reason your signature cannot be a cute drawing of a cat, so long as you can do it relatively quickly and pet much the same way every time. It can literally be any mark with the intent of dating “it me.”

My niece moved to the Northern US from Kenya (on the equator), and I was just explaining to her how daylight works for us up here. “You mean when I get home from school it will already be dark???” Yep babes, sorry. It’s the price we pay for 16 hours of daylight in the summer.

My partner is black, but lighter skinned and kind of ambiguous. By 9/12 everyone who used to think they were Hispanic suddenly thought they were Arab, and the utter hate and bullshit they have had to put up with. Still “randomly” selected most of the time, though at least in the US we have TSA Pre✅.

I mean, I think if it was so dark it leaned brown/black, or was a dark brown that leaned plum, he’d look fantastic. But I think the warm shades wash him out. But that is just me who grew up as an assistant to my mom, a fine artist who moonlights as a pro bono color analyst.
