Coming home for the summer didn't exactly provide the vacation Gabby was hoping for. In the middle of a stressful fight, he freaks out and attempts to replicate the gift he used to meet Lex three years ago, despite repeated failures. It works.

Landing in a new world, that conundrum is carved into Gabby's skin. Will they cancel each other out? Gabby hopes so. If not, then he's going to have a whole new problem on his hands—or claws—if he can even find his way home!

The worst part is, that isn't even the last big question in store for his family. Everything he knows is about to change. Of course, no matter what his first feelings may be, change isn't always bad. Sometimes, it's the very thing you didn't know you needed.

Gabriel "Gabby" Belmont has the same dreams and hopes as human kids. Graduate high school, go to college, med school, live the dream. He should have the same, ordinary life as his peers.

Most dhampir are just like humans, maybe a little faster, stronger, healthier, but overall, you can't tell them apart. Unfortunately for Gabby, he's not 'a little' enhanced. He's almost half as strong and fast as a vampire. What's more, he's gifted, both by human terms and vampire.

Other kids can't feel emotions from their peers. Other teenagers can't summon real demons in their bedrooms. Even among dhampir, Gabby is an outlier, and he's been lonely a very long time.

This story is about friendship, found family, love in all its forms, healing, self-discovery... and stories that transcend the multiverse.

The bright morning light over her side, the blonde strands across her face that caught the flakes spiraling down between where they stood, the deep forest green of her mother’s old cloak, the way her shoulders squared and her chest expanded as she pulled in her breath and built up her courage: Marla, so like Marla, as she once was at that age. He looked down into the glittering snow enveloping their feet.

“Yes Papa. I can do it.”

When he looked up, her eyes were still wide. But she also held her chin a little higher, her lips pressed together tight.

Because I love Pixies, I'll play. I'm Sam, and I drew my silly little maps in CS4, mainly to keep track of locations for me. I know they need less water, lol. This is a high fantasy world (book: No True Immortals), and this is the primarily human continent of Talu. #Cartaugust

A water-heavy green continent with some topography shown, along with forests, mountains, tropic mountains, desert, and plains. To the bottom right is a chain of islands. To the top right is the corner shore of another continent. Ocean is blue with lighter blues near the shore.

The same map as before with political boundaries. Top left peninsula is "Norport" in yellow, bordering Merlake--an enormous body of water draining into a bay to the ocean in the north--outlined in blue. To the east is an unnamed mountain and woodsy plains outlined in brown. Below both is Whelmena, a partly mountainous country in grey. Below that is Chiponyea, a country with forests, hills, lakes with islands, and mountains, in dark red. Below, in darker purplish-red, is Itzotl, a mountainous smallish country above the final west coast country, Kahi Ahq, which is hilly plains. To the east, the southernmost small country of Jelham is plains and outlined in purple. East of that and bordering Itzotl, Kahi Ahq and Jelham to its east is Trecoom, in black, which features plains, a few hills, and some forest to the northwest. Above that, bordering Chiponyea, in the center of the continent, is Xyloria, in white, which has two large lakes, is half dense forest and half plains dotted with smaller woods. Above Xyloria is Aelfarheim, a large country with mixed terrain, including mountains, plains, and forest, outlined in cyan. It is coastal to the north. To the east, it's bordered by the tropical mountains of Ocrmont, which is the northesternmost country, in neon green. Below is a bit of cove, plains, and desert with no name, outlined in orange. Bordering this to the west, Orcmont to the south, Aelfarheim to the southeast, and Xyloria to the east (with multiple Xs at their border), is the largest country, Olasa KeLen, a hot country of plains and desert with a small mountain range and a couple lakes, outlined in yellow. Bordered on its south is Oberben, a mountainous country that claims several peninsulas coming from other countries along with a large body of water and coast. Finally, no outline exists around The Wildes, which is the coastal area between Oberben and the territory that will not bear a name below Orcmont. The island chain and other continent have no name markers.

It's CartAugust! Hi. I'm Cheyenne, the creator of the Akrodaxis. The Akrodaxis is a galaxy, but for this month I'll be focused on Drakïrü, a planet inside the Akrodaxis. I have one completed and one in-progress map for this world. These were made in Wonderdraft, which is an excellent program!

#CartAugust Yes, I'm playing my own game! MC Burnell here, and I'm going to be yapping about Dhashere. Might tinker with the art as the month goes on. This is the setting of my science-fantasy trilogy The Spider's Friend, and I picked it bc it's fun!

A landmass around an inland sea, open ocean to the west. It's called Dhashere. There are several ranges of mountains, the largest hemming the area in to the east. It's mostly quite arid; there are any number of cities.
