When I first started meds, I would do a block of work and be like “that was a nice hour of work,” and check the clock and it had only been 30 minutes. Apparently before, my mind was wandering a ton, slowing me down, and I didn’t notice. It was a weird feeling!

There's no evidence that, when following established sporting guidelines, transgender individuals preform at disproportionate rates to cisgender individuals. Even if there hypothetically was, that would just call for guideline revision, not 100% blanket bans based solely on sex assigned at birth.

The microwave was my grandmother’s favorite invention. She taught piano lessons after school while also raising 5 kids. The microwave was a game changer for her.

Agreed! And maybe it was just this bookstore’s practice to do it that way. Maybe to give bigger and more prominent spots to catch the attention of people just browsing? And then just frequently rotating those things? Because if you’re there for something specific like I was, you can still ask.

ICE abducted a WBB player while she was traveling with her Kentucky State team in early August at Louisville airport. She has been imprisoned for 1.5 months and denied care for a serious ACL injury. It is the responsibility of universities and the NCAA to protect their players. They have failed.

Aminata Seck, 26, a student-athlete at Kentucky State University, was arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement at the Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport while traveling with her school's basketball team Aug. 7, said Sadiqa Reynolds, a lawyer helping coordinate Seck's case.

Seck's team was headed to New York for a tournament, and she was taken into custody after going through airport security, said Reynolds, former president and CEO of the Louisville Urban League.

I did that once and I learned that they keep books on rotation out on the bookstore floor. Not every book for sale is out there all the time! I had no idea. But the salesperson was able to go to the back and get the book I wanted for me. Just a little interesting bookstore fact.

Did anyone else catch in here that he’s coming after Gen Ed requirements next? Maybe I’m weird, but I hold some of my Gen Ed courses that I took as more important than many of my major courses. They made me a smarter, better person. And the best part was the breadth of choice that I had.

Working out has really made alumni day a much more pleasant day for me. I end the day with just my feet and back hurting, rather than my whole body feeling like it was beaten with clubs. Treating it kind of like an endurance running event (wrt water and carb intake) is also very helpful.

Nothing alarms us alumni more than when the regular band taps us off too fast for Fight the Team when going to the Script blocks. (It’s supposed to be 180bpm, the regular band was slightly faster than that, and we alumni would like it at like 168, thanks. Our feet don’t move that fast anymore.)
