I know not to vend in Collingswood. I did not lose money on that event, but many of my real life friends did. Everyone vends now. This is good. Make stuff. Sell it. However, the event organizers do not seem to care if anything sells or if the event happens at all. Vendor fees are easy to collect.

There are too many fall festivals taking money from artists and not promoting for artists. Collingswood Mayfair was cancelled due to rain. The event organizers did not refund booth fees or schedule a rain date. The great grift right now is charging artists for the right to sell their own work.

An event I was supposed to work was cancelled today due to rain. The thing is I saw an official ai generated flyer for the event earlier in the week & was considering no showing. I never no show. Glad I did not have to make the choice. Don’t expect artists to support you if you do not support us.

Calls of “ai going rogue” would sound less like pathetic attempts at sensationalism if the ai could ever do what it was assigned to do to begin with. Telling people to put glue in pizza and to kill themselves is what ai does when it behaves. This is not good tech gone bad. This is the tech.
