From my POV in K-12 CS and STEM. I think there harm preventions and reduction has to be prioritized. Consider these youth to be test subject for capitalist companies seeking to acquire future-paying customers. What risk are you putting them at? How does it serve those corporations?

Is it a coincidence that a hit piece on maskers is being pushed while the U.S. is in a current COVID wave (NUMBER 13 btw) & the CDC got caught lying on their graphs again? If you read my rants on language, I just want to express how pernicious "intelligence" is to escape. You can excise the R-word and still search for synonyms that do the same thing. I can't call them or an idea stupid? That's impossible or some ideas and people are stupid!

I would go back to school to learn how to be a death duola. That would be a cool skillset.

Ai can process, generate, calculate, identify....are all better verbs than think, create, or understand. If that seems inaccurate to describing "Ai" or generative LLM, I embrace that because it's a psychological step my students need to not anthropomorphize.
