FOREST PARK IS UNDER ATTACK Two years ago we defeated Portland General Electric’s Harborton Project which would have clear cut 5 acres of Forest Park to expand electrical capacity to Hillsboro and support data center expansion.

Allan Classen, the editor of the NW Examiner, has chosen to exclude us and @jameyevenstar.bsky.social from their Candidate Debate by saying we haven’t raised enough money. Our campaign has raised over $130k and we’ve remained steadily ahead of Eric Zimmerman in contributions. This is a bad look.

AI data centers use enormous amounts of electricity and Portlanders should not be stuck paying the price. This is why I support a four-year moratorium on new data center development. Selling our land and resources to out-of-state tech companies is a bad deal for our city’s future.

It was a hard question to answer Y/N to. The mayor is trying (better than Ted!), but frequently fumbles. Also, many D4 voters fear the division on council gets in the way of solving problems. My mind was on working with the mayor's good intentions to take immediate action on Portland's crises.
