I saw Digger last night, the new Tom Cruise/Alejandro Iñárritu movie about climate change. It's wildly imaginative but nobody is going to see it because it's so not-fun to watch men scream at each other for two hours. Oscar nomination for Cruise, crash and burn at the box office.

My former colleagues, Mark Cane and Stephen Zebiak, were the first to successfully predict El Niño more than a year in advance in the late 1980s. Now we’re really good at it, and know the consequences. It’d be irresponsible for governments not to take action. Read this from my buddy Jeff Shaman.
