This is what happened to Trump's shooter, inviting the false assumption that he is representative of a coherent political opposition to Trump. It turns out that the right sometimes does prefer pronouns.

Honestly, when I first saw DOGE mentioned in the newspaper last week, I first assumed that it was yet another new flood control system for Venice, like MOSE. Sadly not. Choose your republics well, I guess - and look after them. 🇮🇹🐬
Painted oil portrait of Doge of Venice Leonardo Loredan, by Giovanni Bellini, c 1500, now in the National Gallery, London. Against a blue background a bust-length portrait of a white man looking to viewer’s left, in approximately middle age, wearing a silky, patterned cream cloak with gold trim that fits snug to his neck, his hair concealed by a white wrap or kerchief, wearing over that a gold-trimmed cap with a curved upward peak at back. The man is slender and square-jawed with a serious expression. A windowsill or ledge defines the bottom of the painting as if he is behind it, and it bears an identifying inscription.
