We like to tell ourselves that when Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier in the MLB that then racial tensions got better But MLB and its fans weren't as kind to Robinson as we like to pretend. And it's not like "oh MLB is having players of color, let's get rid of Jim Crow laws then"

It is funny that as a kid I was squeamish around horror (and still am NGL) but I started reading Stephen King when I was very young because I honestly thought "oh! He spells his name the same way I do!"

An odd family story I was reminded of.. So a cow hurt itself and the only thing to do was kill it quickly. But what you might not know is that cows have thick skulls So our friend loaded his rifle and aimed forthe cow's head but sadly didn't kill it.
