Welp, that's a WR for Medium afaik! Was close to 2:0x, which would've been awesome, but I'll gladly take this! Still a second saved over the previous record. Waldoctober never disappoints!

Where's Waldo? (NES) Medium PB/WR, 2:10.xx (likely a 2:10.317)

Making up for the shorter stream last week by doing a longer Waldo session. On Medium this time, because there might be a bit more time to save! www.twitch.tv/janglestorm

Probably a sign I need more sleep that I keep laughing at this Lego manual page. Instruction: Block. You need: Block. Step 1: Have Block.

A Lego instruction manual page. A single flat 4x2 piece alone in a grey void, somehow perfectly encapsulating the feeling of a Sunday afternoon when you've got work in the morning.

SRC changed their terms of use yesterday, and released a news post with an FAQ. They make it sound like not a big deal. It's a big deal. The Creative Commons licence is gone. They claim ownership over the data now. Thread about what this means, and what we can do about it 🧵

Comparison of the old src terms and the new src terms

Shorter stream than expected, was starting to have some Twitch connectivity issues I think. Will try again later, tomorrow maybe? Also I got God Subway like 4 times in an hour, that's gotta be a record, haha

Also got to know some new secrets about the game somehow. They were always there, but I only learned about them tonight after having known SMW for almost my entire life - go figure.

Rolled credits with 68 achievements out of 89. The ones remaining seems to be more tedious, since I have to beat each level with small Mario only, and also several areas where I need to get all Dragon Coins still. Not sure if that'd be as much fun to watch. And some others, but you know.

Officially less than 2 months until my 10 year anniversary as a speedrunner, dayum. That was when I first finished a full run of Shantae and the Pirate's Curse on stream. Would be fun to revisit it sort of, maybe run it on the WiiU. (Yes, it began there) Haven't played it in a bit, actually!

Alright, that's better - at least nice having splits now that show a 19! And then afterwards I had a run that was on a spicy pace until Report 6 happened D: Goes to show there's some potential for more! For now I'll be giving it a rest though, nice to get this PB at least ^_^

Quick question for those who played it, how is Aggelos 2 compared to the first game? I liked the first one quite a bit, even with the difficulties I was having with it eventually. There's a discount for the second one until tomorrow, so yeah, you know.

new zelda looks pretty nice imo but we will have to wait and see how long it takes king zora to move before jumping to any conclusions, we can only hope the switch 2 is strong enough to handle making the cutscene longer

Yeah, if you haven't done it in a while, you tend to feel it. Went swimming myself recently and it was like I felt out of shape or something, lol But fun though, for sure, I've always really enjoyed it.
