It’s widely known (and, I think, pretty uncontroversial) that learning requires effort — specifically, if you don’t have to work at getting the knowledge, it won’t stick. Even if an LLM could be trusted to give you correct information 100% of the time, it would be an inferior method of learning it.

The back- and side-door cold fronts are converging at #NYC and producing an extremely impressive - and unusual - temperature gradient across the city, via NYS Mesonet obs. Temperatures in the low 80s across traditional seabreeze-prone locations are 30F warmer than inland locations right now.

It’s been a long time since I published due to a winding career path. I returned a manuscript with changes in response to reviewers comments, most of which I agreed with. Now one of the reviewers has come back with a bunch of new things, some reasonable, others less so. Is this normal? Any advice?
