In my opinion it’s time to retire the Nobel prizes for fields where most of the important discoveries have already been made, like physics, and add prizes for newer fields where substantial innovations occur every year, like speedrunning

They were developed at the same time. Same code. I believe rendering would have been independent of game state update. Definitely the case for CMR3 as we did a lot of experiments with low/high game/rendering update rates. Interesting stuff!

pro tip for watching movies: turn on HDR if the movie doesn’t support it. that way you can watch it with sunglasses and it’ll dim it back down to normal. that way you can feel cool cause you’re wearing sunglasses
