Perfect example though of how corrupting tariffs are. Every town & business becomes dependent on little tariff carve outs, meaning that buying influence with Senators becomes mandatory to stay in business. The tariff is the mother of trusts!!!

Seriously, there was a point during Suncor oral arguments yesterday where Kavanaugh asked the Boulder lawyer whether its appropriate to have 6 jurors in Colorado making decisions about climate change. And I was just like: That would be better than the 6 reactionary fucksticks on the Supreme Court.

Look at just this one page from Trump's garbage 2027 budget. nsf-gov-resources.nsf.gov/files/FY-202... And where's the money going instead? You guessed it: subsidizing corporate R&D that would happen without government involvement, but they prefer taxpayers cover it.
