displaying passion mate concern about the systems at a university is often met by fence-sitters as an overreaction at best, mental instability at worst. I expressed concern to my director about how deeply our university is entrenching itself with corporate genAI and he told me to go to therapy

The year is 2039. Humanity has reduced fossil fuel consumption by 77%; mycelia eats through PFAS in the soil. Hope. But upon discovering upwards of 92% cows are evil, beef and dairy consumption immediately skyrockets, and the climate is doomed to bake under a pillowy film of bovine methane

getting into Kabbalah
A peculiar yet visually balanced diagram that attempts to show the relationships of units of volume in the imperial system, from gallons to teaspoons. Each volume measure is a circular node, and lines link the nodes. Numbers at each end of the lines show the conversion; e.g., 16 cups to one gallon. The measures of one-third cup and two-thirds cup also appear, leading to numerous crossed lines. Many lines continue past the bottom bound of the image, implying that the esoteric hell of imperial volume measurements continues ad infinitum. The portion of the diagram depicted bears a mild resemblance to the Tree of Life.

I watched the video. It was an execution. The officer cannot claim negligence or an accident because he fired three rounds into the man's head. Incidentally, the officer almost shoots his partner (and may have), as you can see the other officer suddenly jerk back after the first shot is fired.
