Today's four GHOULISH works of palaeoart! Art by Mario Kessler, William Stout, Pham Kim Quang, and Ronald Swanwick

A lizard-skinned, theropod-like Teratosaurus with a tiger-striped pattern and scute-covered hands and feet in a threatening pose. Its muscles are taut and imposing, fully filling out its frame without any hint of fat or other tissues between them and the overlying scales.

A pair of rangy Deinonychus with thick sickle claws and skeletal faces face off in a sandy clearing, moments away from exploding into violence.

A scaly, bottom-heavy Deinonychus messily gnaws on a bloody strip of flesh, tearing it apart with its recurved teeth and clawed hand.

A bipedal, spindly-limbed Iguanodon with long, bony fingers and a short, rod-like. It stands in a wide-stanced posture, as if sizing up the viewer.

Believe me, I’m on it. I already started prepping supplies for the storm yesterday. There’s a chance it may just veer away from Guam, so we might not have to worry about the worst. But it’s probably still gonna be rough. That said, after facing this sorta thing three times before, I’m prepared.

I’m officially fed up with living on a tiny island that gets constantly ravaged by huge tropical storms. October falls within typhoon season for us on Guam, and with it being an El Niño year, I’m almost terrified to think of how bad it might get this time. The sooner I move, the better.

I'm a bit late, but "Great Maia" might be one of, if not *the* best Dinosauria short. If nothing else, it may have the best portrayal of Maiasaura (and hadrosaurs in general) in a film. Visually, emotionally and for the animals' characterization, David Armsby outdid himself.

A mother Maiasaura fighting against a Daspletosaurus torosus attacking her and her nest on a dark, stormy night.

A big-headed Shunosaurus with a slim, rubbery body without obviously defined muscles. Its tail whips about, ending in a cluster of spines and a bony lump. Its teeth protrude grotesquely from its skeletally thin skull.
