"Mother Moon" For my project "Solarcvlt" Winter slowly fading & in many folklores the wolf was animal of this transitionary time between "life & death" Wolves mate in the deep of winter now the she-wolf is symbolically carrying the young sun into the new year. #WerewolfWednesday #art #werewolf

First photograph of a sculpture of a Werewolf-goddess holding the moon with Candles on the moon

During the dark winter days the moon is lighting up the darkness.
The wolf takes the form of a goddess, because they both share a fate. Once seen in high regard both have been shunned by humans leading warfare against nature, the wolf & the female body
Both them became associated with sin & evil forces, degraded by the urges & greed of mankind
Sun carrier became sun eater disregarding the cycle of rebirth, goddess became the evil witch...

Side view without candles but smoke instead

"Unicornis" By the topic of 3D horses, I don't think ever shared this older piece here. A sculpting test from in 2019, when I was still learing the basics in Zbrush, but I still like it a lot to this day! Little fun fact: I'm a huge horse person & have been riding since I've been 5 years old 🐎

Artists! Post your sketch vs final! 🌕 This one changed quite a bit in the lineart stage, because it felt way too stiff, and the body didn't sit "right" in the composition. I'm still glad I made those changes.

The wolf now complete so the horse will be next! During the break hours over the course of the day when I waited for the paint layers to dry on the figure orders, I made some progress with the body for this sculpt🌟 Would be great to finish it during the horse year :) #art

Finally I took some pics of our latest crafting project! My partner @vyrosk.bsky.social & I build ourselves a chest from scratch & I decided to paint something into the arches. It was challening to work on, but I also enjoyed wood working & painting traditionally for once. #medieval #art

self-build medieval chest. dark wood with 3 arches each arch has a little scene with a colourful tree and a night sky with gold stars painted into it. there magpies sitting in the trees

Okay it's #WerewolfWednesday and that means its time for my most well known tarot card "Death". Based on the common Memento Mori theme of death as the great equalizer. I'm still open for work currently (especially after the shipping disaster haha)👉👈 #art

Commissioned Ilustration of a werewolf symbolizing death attacking a bishop, while a fallen king already lays on ground behind them.
Based on a common 16th century memento mori motif of death as the great equalizer.

Details✨ I thought of a new technique when applying the graphite coating for the electroplating. My goal was to get the copper to form in a way that it has a subtle fur-like texture and I'm super happy how well it worked! #art #wolfart #medieval

Alright after a weekend of steady carving it sadly ended in a bit of a failure 🫠 I failed at preparing the wood well enough for it to print properly, which just shows me I need to work on the basics more. The good thing I drew the design digitally first so I can try again after more practise😅

Think I'm over the worst parts for now🫠 I'm a bit bummed the corners of the stars broke off so much but choosing to make the whole design only about as big as my hand wasn't helping either 😅
