Yesterday, NASA broke a record. The longest distance travelled by a vehicle on the surface of a world other than Earth. The Perseverance rover has now driven 45.22 km, beating the previous record of 45.16 km by the Opportunity rover. Perseverance did the distance in 5.5 years to Oppy's 15.

Brilliant RED Warbler songbird 13cm lives exclusively in the mountain ranges across Mexico feeds mainly small insects and arthropods female builds builds nest she alone incubates 16 days, male RETURNS the chicks are 3 days old. They both feed chicks 11 days, and 3 more weeks after fledging.

This image shows three shaggy mane mushrooms growing from a hillside covered with decaying leaves and mulch. Two of the mushrooms are in the foreground, and have the bell-shaped caps covered with the white scales that give these mushrooms their name. The third mushroom is in the midground, and its cap has fully opened like a dinner plate with a white, shaggy center and black rim. The front mushrooms appear in the left two thirds of the image, rising to about one third of the way from the top, while the back mushroom is in the left third, occupying the upper two thirds of the image. The hillside is a mix of deep browns from the mulch, with scattered yellow and red from fallen leaves.
