I really hate the large markdown files that AI slops out. They're long, verbose, & still need to be reviewed for accuracy (which I bet you gets skimped on). I've been seeing them for documentation & planning, the kind of thing you want clarity on, but instead get slammed with information overload.

The popularity of podcasts cannot be conhattered a surprised. Being a (mostly) free source of
entertainment and information, unique insi age auld even enlightening discourse, it isn't a shock that many
have chosen the medium as a means of expressing themselves.
And while content is important when putting out a podcast, the technical aspect of it is very crucial
After all, if your listener cannot hear what you say, it's unlikely they'l keep tuning in..
So, with that in mind, here are a few things to remember when recording your podcast.
Use The Proper Equipment
As a purely auditory medium, the audio
quality of your podcast is extremely
important. While most laptops come built
in with a mic, this is not the advisable
thing to record your voice on for content
that you intend to broadcast. Be sure to
look for the right equipment that fits your
needs and budget.
Warm Up
The majority of podcasts last for at least
an hour, so it would be ideal to warm up.
Do a few tongue twisters and other oral
and vocal exercises to stretch those
muscles for an extended recording.
This way, you open your podcast with
the appropriate amount of energy and
readiness.
Find The Right Space
For the best quality, try to find a small,
quiet room you can do your recording in.
Be sure to be in a place wherein your pets
or housemates can't accidentally walk in
and disrupt your recording.
If soundproofing is not a viable option,
you can muffle external noises with
cushions and other similar available
materials.
Proper Mic Use
Be sure to employ the right microphone
techniques. Remember that the mic should
be at the same height as your mouth. Sit a
few inches away from the mic and use a
pop filter for the best quality possible. Keep
distance in mind, as the closer you are to
the microphone, the louder you'll sound.
Once you find the right distance for the
desired volume, you're ready to record.
Just follow these tips and your podcast would definitely have that distinct professional sound
that makes all podcasts great. After that, it's all up to you.

Since I was a teenager, my whole struggle with coding was trying to wade through the layers of misdirection to get at the heart of what these machines were *physically* doing. With that knowledge I felt capable of doing wondrous things with computers. LLMs have only worsen this obfuscation

My biggest problem with the concept of LLMs, even if they weren’t a giant plagiarism laundering machine and disaster for the environment, is that they introduce so much unpredictability into computing. I became a professional computer toucher because they do exactly what you tell them to. Not always what you wanted, but exactly what you asked for.

LLMs turn that upside down. They turn a very autistic do-what-you-say, say-what-you-mean commmunication style with the machine into a neurotypical conversation talking around the issue, but never directly addressing the substance of problem.

In any conversation I have with a person, I’m modeling their understanding of the topic at hand, trying to tailor my communication style to their needs. The same applies to programming languages and frameworks. If you work with a language the way its author intended it goes a lot easier.

But LLMs don’t have an understanding of the conversation. There is no intent. It’s just a mostly-likely-next-word generator on steroids. You’re trying to give directions to a lossily compressed copy of the entire works of human writing. There is no mind to model, and no predictability to the output.

If I wanted to spend my time communicating in a superficial, neurotypical style my autistic ass certainly wouldn’t have gone into computering. LLMs are the final act of the finance bros and capitalists wrestling modern technology away from the technically literate proletariat who built it.
