Just 130 of the 10k new affordable housing units built citywide were in Nithya Raman’s district — the second worst record of all 15 council districts.

Raman talks a big game on housing. But after 6 years on the City Council, her rhetoric doesn’t match her record.

The 200-unit affordable housing development proposal on Ethel Ave. in Sherman Oaks, Councilmember Raman’s district? Still a vacant lot. One of the reasons why the number of affordable housing units in CD4 is so low: Mayor Bass watered down ED1 & capitulated to single-family homeowners & NIMBYs.
