Why does "Cheeky Nandos" work so well as a phrase? It implies there's a "Polite Nandos" but yuck to that in my mouth. Why does "Cheeky" work as the adjective? You'd think "Naughty" (also two syllables, ends with 'y' sound + bonus alliteration) would be as good - but it's not! Linguistically; why?
