Morning mooch around the back before a quick look at the reserve. Water Pipit the pick of the passerines on the marsh + a single Red Knot amongst 78 Icelandic Black-tailed Godwits. A few thrushes over & flocks of Chaffinches, Linnets & Skylarks all heading off westwards. #cleybirds #norfolkbirding

Saddened to hear of Esther Rantzen's passing. I remember That's Life and I remember her starting Childline on that programme. I worked for Childline for 16 years and met her several times. She was a very fierce advocate for Childline and its wonderful volunteers. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
