The Geller news is heartbreaking. Learning of these crimes always is. Rather than listen to a perpetrator, I recommend reading Nathalie Lawhead‘s important account of outing a rapist and games media‘s subsequent betrayal of her bravery. It must have been so heavy to write. Justice for survivors.

the thing about remakes is when folk get upset you want to ask "why?? the original is still there - how does this impact your ability to enjoy it?" and the thing about game remakes is that often it's hard to get hold of the original and the publisher explicitly does intend to replace it
