Five years ago I started transitioning thinking "I'll be fine in Texas, especially if I stay in a city." I thought it terribly unfair that I was born in one of only 2 states that didn't allow gender changes on birth certificates, and that was the only real issue I faced. Completely different now.

My 12 year old nibling has come out as trans and his parents are apparently not fully supportive. He's interested in medical transition but lives in a bad state and again, parents not on board yet. Total nightmare that there's not much I can do to help :/

in 7th grade on the bus home we were crammed 3 kids per seat, and I was squeezed against the window. The press of thighs resulted in my thing falling asleep. Couldn't feel it. I was unironically hoping that it was just gone and I was turning into a girl. Figured out I was trans 19 years later 🤦‍♀️
