I love that about Parkrun.He’s a regular,got a good few years on me,I’ve run with him a couple of times,always gently encouraging…could’ve knocked me down with a feather it was him when he came over to congratulate me,seemed pleased for me I was actually in front of him for once 🤩

After a shower & change I took the bus 🚌 to the next but one village to try a new lunch spot, I figured I deserved a reward for my efforts this week. I took a lovely stroll home along the low water line - sunny & very breezy but just perfect 🤩 #CoastLife

He’s a regular,softly spoken much older chap, I’ve run with him a couple of times … could’ve knocked me down with a feather when he came over to congratulate me - he’s been a quite encouragement for me for a long time, he seemed pleased for me I was actually in front of him 🤩 Norfolk is not flat 😆

Happy #Parkrunday a cool wind today, 🚌 the park.I’m happy with that,mileage upped this week & working on my attitude to hills.⛰️ Cheered/chased up the finish hill by a runner whose voice I didn’t recognise.Coming in amongst some of those I aim to emmulate made today a success for me.💪 #RebelliousHope

Decidedly & thankfully cooler this evening,much more my preferred running weather.After an anxiety ridden day with what turned out to be a minor boiler issue I surpised myself by turning it around & getting out 🏃‍♀️Pyramid 3,6,9,6,3 mins effort,1 min slow jog recovery between efforts.💪 #RebelliousHope

Indeed it is - I went to a talk that Simon Harrap did at a local birding group monthly meeting - the whole room was engrossed. He was really engaging and opened my eyes to what’s at my feet!

My October goals: get to run club at least once a week & up my mileage to & 10miles p/w w/c 28th Sept 2026 ✅ run club x 1 ❌ ran 6.5 miles ➕walked 7.5 miles+ #WinningAtLife on top of a full working week & Parkrun volunteering so didn’t get my Saturday run.I’m sailing🤭into next week #RebelliousHope

As I sat atop Skelding Hill I watched a late steam train roll in from the sheds. A quick bit of research 🧐 & discover there was a special dining train on. Dues to leave soon after sunset. 📣 sound up Please be assured I was behind the fence & safety line at this small crossing. 🚂
