Spectacular day today in ConveyancingLand. I dealt with some requisitions from the land registry on Monday in respect of the registration of a new lease. The matter completed 2 years ago! I could deal with one but the second one needed the input of the developer's solicitors.

Poor little CalindaSmallCat has unsightly lumps in both ears, the corner of one eye and on an eyelid. They don't seem to be bothering her, but now she is shaking her head a lot. I feel a trip to the vets is inevitable for my little old lady 🥺

I am very pleased that local law enforcement seem to have stopped at incident at RAF Fairford. Clearly the alleged bombers knew that not a single RAF sausage would be available at the weekend!!

Just been to see the film Pressure about the weather forecasting in the lead up to DDay. Apart from some obvious artistic licence and historical inaccuracies (I mean the beach at slapton is pebbly!) I found it an excellent film. Damien Lewis was a very pompous Monty, deeply dislikable

I had this tee made especially for today, because if those women, on whose shoulders I stand, could do what was asked of them then I certainly can. I run for those wrens who were lost on SS Aguila In 1941 and SS Khedhive Ismail in 1944, and all the other fallen wrens.

Well that's my training nearly done for parkrun to 10k. I am doing the Torbay 10k next Sunday and I ran the route this morning. There are some bastard hilly hills en route but they seem worse in the car than on foot so I am glad to have put those demons to rest. So yay, go me!
