Every week with a shifter in his house, was a week of new learning for Reiner, and he was learning on a very broad spectrum. One week he learned about shifter biology, another week could be dedicated to Jean’s very specific tastes in food, which Jean claimed were general for all shifters. But in all honesty, Reiner had his doubts. Still, he humoured Jean’s antics without comment. This week, Reiner learned that a shifter would stew about awkward sex for five business days while refusing to turn into their human form. But again, Reiner suspected that this was also very Jean-specific. For a week, Reiner had got out of bed and prepared them both breakfast, waited patiently while Jean had stared stubbornly at him in his dog form. Yet, every morning had ended with Reiner eventually putting the plate onto the floor where Jean had eaten the food and left the kitchen.
