Most men would like to think about rapists as a shadowy stranger who leaps out of the bushes and grabs a woman off of the road. And please listen to me: these kinds of rapists absolutely do exist. But the massive amount of sexual assault is perpetuated by those known to the victim. Friends. Family.

#kinktober day one with #eruri ⭐ bratting and watersports 💦 archiveofourown.org/works/92606536

an excerpt of text:
Waiting at the kitchen island, barstool uncomfortably hard against his backside, Levi sits. Erwin is wiping away the fingerprints and grease from a set of drinking glasses, fastidiously working as Levi watches.

“Are you almost done?” he asks.

“If you helped, it would go by faster,” Erwin replies.

“No,” Levi mutters. “I don’t want to do that.”

“...But you love to clean.”

“Well, I don’t want to right now.”

The vein in Erwin’s temple throbs. “You’re really testing my patience, y’know.” He sets down the last of the drinking glasses and puts them all away except for one. “You wanna keep acting like a brat?”

Levi rolls his eyes, but his pulse quickens in anticipation. He can’t help it if he thinks Erwin looks sexy when he’s angry with him.

“Say I won’t,” Erwin whispers, leaning closer to him. “You know I will.”

Summary:

“I don’t understand,” Levi mutters, watching the dirt path that leads up to former HQ like Erwin might appear out of thin air.

“What do you mean?”

He’s echoing himself, six years ago. Bursting into Erwin’s office for the first time sober, with two dead friends and only meaningless sex to fill the void. I don’t understand you. Erwin’s millisecond of shock, of genuine feeling. The neutral mask that slipped over it. It’s for the best, Levi. I’m sorry.

“It’s weird timing,” he replies curtly. “That’s all.”
Before the 57th expedition, Levi and Petra start exploring their connection.

Erwin has other ideas.

Just in case anyone thinks it can't happen, I'm 50 & my debut novel from Bad Hand comes out on Oct 20th. In 2017, a TBI upended my life. Writing helped craft a new, post-injury sense of self. Writing horror was a way to process the grief & anger about what I'd lost. You're never too old to start!
