Rewatching Casino Royale where Bond (with a full house Kings over Aces) loses to Le Chiffre (with 4 Jacks). Bond is treated as being arrogant and risky, but Bond's odds of losing were only 1 in 495. Of course he should have gone all in. That pisses me off to an irrational degree.

I worked for Big Software Company that was trying to ride the "Move fast & break things" wave of encouraging rapid experimentation to learn from failures. They made a ton of marketing swag that read "Fail faster with Big Software Co." This is a lot like that.

I grew up in northern Texas and my mom was from north shore Massachusetts. Visiting family up there, I watched Jaws as a small child and then was absolutely terrified of going into the ocean. I even remember fearing Jaws would bust through the shower floor or swimming pools when I was near the sea.

She seems to be saying that parts of the interview _not_ used in the story by the journalists who interviewed her appeared in other stories by other journalists - as in the whole interview became something affiliated papers mined for quotes, regardless of context.
