Following on from yesterdays flood we now have someone in ripping out carpet and laminate and knocking a large hole in our kitchen ceiling However we got a free fibre broadband upgrade this morning as part of the ongoing work to get rid of copper lines Big step up from 40mbps so swings etc

The RNLI rescued Luftwaffe pilots in WW2 because the organisation is there to 'save life at sea' - it's something to be immensely proud of. Did a couple of hours up at the allotment yesterday. Cleaned out the greenhouse cucumbers, pulled the last cauli’ (mouldy) and put the covers on the largest beds The Brussel sprouts are looking good as are the leeks Brought home 2 large pumpkins, some apples and a few rasp’s for the dogs 🌱

Nipped up the allotment yesterday. Pumpkins looking good and the apples on the young tree are coming along Came away with a cauli’, cucumbers, the last of the grapes and a handful of late raspberries for the dogs because they’re good girls (and love rasp’s) Wildflower patch still blooming 🌱
