This is gonna be a controversial take, but Latka is the only part of TAXI that I struggle with. The rest of the show is a pitch-perfect, bittersweet look at what it’s like to work a blue-collar job, and Latka’s over-the-top character feels out of step in a show where everything else feels authentic.
