1st Halloween/October viewing: PRIMETIME (2026), in theater. Solid yet familiar in content, tenor, tone, thrust, borderline genre fare, very much of our time (Epstein/Trump) despite firm grounding in recent media history. Rescreened THE ODYSSEY, confirms Pattinson as the new Karloff! That face...

Somewhat astonished that after years of digging, searching, excavating from every corner of my living & working space, I can begin to sort, file, & put away decades of artifacts from my SWAMP THING & TYRANT® labors at long, long last. It's been a long stretch, but now it's in the hands of others.

Screened the full pre-release version of NIGHT OF THE DEMON/CURSE OF THE DEMON (1957) today; still a stunning, irreplaceable classic, sterling Jacques Tourneur direction, stellar cast, suffocating sense of mounting dread.

2026 hand-painted-pre-manufactured-ceramics mug, for the spring TYRANT® Kickstarter, this now lives with a lucky attendee of the live online event. Photographed after kiln-firing, finished. Impossible to capture the roundabout nature of the image I put down. I've done a few variants of this since.

The stools are going up on the tables at "7pm Pacific time TONIGHT our TYRANT® coach turns into a pumpkin"... FINAL CALL. Link top of comments, below. Fondly recall the prep work that went into this entire venture—five long years, actually. 2 more 2026 ceramics, painted by me, for spring launch.

Here we go again: another 2026 hand-painted-pre-manufactured-ceramics piece, for the spring TYRANT® Kickstarter, awarded to a lucky fan amid the live online event. Photographed after cooled from the kiln, tough to capture the roundabout nature of the image. I've done revamps of this since.

Our son Danny suffered a savaging of his lower leg by a dog earlier this year. He's healing up—but owner lied to police, lied about their dog having rabies shots (meaning Danny had to endure that battery of injections) & skipped state by 4 am the morning of the attack—& till traumatized by it all.

Really, really, painfully missing our late son Michael. He was one of the best men I ever was fortunate enough to know in this lifetime—and he was our son.

January 2025 started off with a tiny wee split in a water filter under our kitchen sink s-l-o-w-l-y leaking for 2 weeks, unknown to us, into the basement library/writing studio. Pix of the first haul of soaked/water-damaged books, zines, comics, etc. before the damage inventory began...

More of my 2026 TYRANT® Kickstarter contributions, these went to winners of the raffles during the March-April 2026 live Kickstarter events. I kept photos of some of the goodies. Pre-kiln 'raw' hand-painted (by me) pre-manufactured-ceramic T. rex; kilned, finished hand-painted (by me) Triceratops.
