Without naming your job, tell me something you say over and over again at work. I'm in the midst of another career change but it's this for my previous job: "one two three PAUSE five six seven"

This was so fun indeed <3 Thank you, Mars and Kira, two wonderfully talented artists who collaborated with me for Day 5 of #BaizhuWeek2025 (Birthday + Date Night) Happy Birthday, Baizhu 💚 @baizhuweek.bsky.social fic link 🔗: archiveofourown.org/works/64889953

“Another dance after this,” Baizhu whispers back, careful not to disrupt the easy synchrony of their steps—thighs brushing, hearts pounding, feet light and certain—though there is nothing more he’d love to do than to pull Zhongli away and into a dark corner and press kisses against his lips. The dance must go on, or else the night ends. This contract, regardless of the absurdity of its parameters, binds them, and in turn, holds Baizhu’s sanity in its place.

After Zhongli came back from his sudden and unforeseen disappearance, Baizhu proposed an arrangement in which the two of them would only be allowed to hold each other on the dance floor, and nowhere else.

With the holiday over, I wished to update that my mom passed away painlessly in her sleep on Dec 29th. I stayed by her side to the last. I'm at peace knowing she's no longer suffering. There are many tasks I must shoulder still, so the GFM will stay up. Tysm for your amazing support thus far 🥹💕

this iconic advertising copywriter named Kathy Hepinstall Parks died over the weekend and I wanted to share something from her website I thought Bluesky would like

Why should I write better when a machine can do it for me?
Because actually no one can do it for you, because your voice is unique among all the people on earth. Siri never petted a horse's neck. Alexa has never been ghosted by the captain of the football team. But you have lived, your heart is beating, you have suffered, and you have something important to say. It's a human's job, to use words, and whatever job you give to a machine, that part of your brain goes dark. Maybe it's worth it when it comes to remembering phone numbers and directions, but when that part of your brain that uses words goes dark, that's a vast area that's very close to your soul. Don't let some internet platform convince you that what you have to say and create isn't worthwhile. Words are the echo of your soul. Honing that echo matters.

archiveofourown.org/works/56086306 to everyone who read the translations and love iwaoi, i'd like to offer a magazine interview fic where we uncover the truth about iwaoi's real relationship status ;D #IwaOi

(Restricted) Knockout
by HomegrownSun
Summary:
Oikawa provoked Iwaizumi-san to swing first. He grazed Oikawa-san on the cheek sloppily, missing his jaw. Oikawa-san sent a weaker punch back, a poor excuse of an uppercut that didn't even touch Iwaizumi-san's chin. It was then that Iwaizumi-san caught Oikawa-san by the wrist and held him in place so he could go at the jaw again, a blow that finally landed. Oikawa-san fought back by grabbing Iwaizumi-san's hair and pulling hard before throwing another punch.
-
Following the 2024 Olympics, a famous volleyball player and an athletic trainer punching each other got caught on camera, and videos showing different angles of the altercation went viral. Fifteen years later the pair’s friends finally share the entire story.

Notes:
In response to a prompt by mozaikmage in the The Haikyuu Fic Idea Orphanage collection.

I saw somebody on TikTok using the word 'slopper' as a slur for people who use ChatGPT, and that's a thing we should start doing.
