I talk to other writers who have to use LLMs at day jobs and my advice is always, "Listen, you do what you have to do to eat. But if you want to keep your brain? You turn all that shit off at 5pm and you NEVER EVER PICK IT UP AGAIN outside of those hours." You can literally feel your brain atrophy

My child was given the option to pick a book from the used bookstore to read during an upcoming vacation, and he chose a very pretty coffee table mythology book. I support his excitement and interest and I did not tell him no. *sobs in bookshelves full of teen hyperfixation*
