I live in Kent, I’m appalled that this was allowed to happen. I do not expect hundreds of masked thugs in uniform to have an organised away day causing mayhem with complete impunity - my grandparents fought against this type of behaviour, letting this happen without a single arrest is shocking.

Iceland is not in the EU, but it is a member of the Schengen area. It’s also a member of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) and is part of the Single Market, meaning it enjoys freedom of movement with the EU. Good to know that doesn’t impact their independence. Maybe we should try it, Nige.
