I love these. They also have large power banks (60,000 - 90,000 mAh) with built in led lighting and one of those just got me through a local power outage after a storm with power to spare.

In the aftermath of a storm while inspecting tree damage, I noticed that an experiment I started several years ago had succeeded without me realizing. This picture shows an Asian pair grafted onto a Callery Pear rootstock. Something I was told was impossible. Luckily, I am hard to convince.

I broke my foot in middle school and was taken to the library (special treat!) to take my mind off it. I picked up The Hobbit because it had a cool name and I finished it that night. Got my grandma to take me back to get every other Tolkien book they had. Really glad I found them when I did.

20ish years ago, a script I wrote deleted all home mortgage loans in queue ready to be finalized for a company you have definitely heard of. Just for completeness sake, it also deleted the backups. I did not lose my job, but I did go on a very sincere apology tour of that office.

You solve algae issues with oxygen. Anything else (copper, chemical) is a stopgap and will potentially make it worse or have negative side effects anyways. In the long run, you oxygenate with surface movement, pumps, or natural plant life. This whole project has been ridiculous.

I think adults with skills will have some of those skills atrophy. Not all adults, not all skills, but it will be a problem (already is). A lot of kids won’t develop the skills in the first place, and they’ll be less able to question the robot. If that happens I worry we’ll go full WALL-E.
