HerpDerpWolfBlitzer @herpderpwolfb.bsky.social · 8hIt was a huge missed opportunity that GM didn’t put the Voltec powertrain into more of their cars like how Toyota made a hybrid version of almost every car they made 011
HerpDerpWolfBlitzer @herpderpwolfb.bsky.social · 8hI plan on keeping the Volt for as long as possible and I would imagine the EV market will have improved significantly by the time it gives up the ghost, whenever that is 110
HerpDerpWolfBlitzer @herpderpwolfb.bsky.social · 10hPlus full EVs have continued to shoot up in the used market and most EREVs by design have enough range to cover an average commute both ways without resorting to gas 120
HerpDerpWolfBlitzer @herpderpwolfb.bsky.social · 10hFunny thing is that the Leaf is now just another crossover EV, and I feel like the Volt would’ve become the same thing if GM decided to do a third gen 010
HerpDerpWolfBlitzer @herpderpwolfb.bsky.social · 10hI still see a *shitload* of second gens but the OG Priuses are getting scarce here 110

HerpDerpWolfBlitzer @herpderpwolfb.bsky.social · 06/10/2026I got a first gen 2014 Volt over the summer and it’s been great so far, it’s saved me hundreds on gas over what I had before (a 2015 Civic) 010

HerpDerpWolfBlitzer @herpderpwolfb.bsky.social · 05/10/2026I almost thought of doing black since that’s how modern Chevys are, but I thought the blue worked better with the Volt’s eco-friendly image 110
