Auto transcription (I was curious, sharing for access. Agree this is fantastic.)
Screenshot of a transcript. It says: “Exactly right, but I want to say a couple things. One thing about cities that I found in this reporting: cities are very unfairly labeled as these problem centers by Donald Trump and others. And one thing is worth remembering: if you look at the population of well, all people in cities, particularly people who come to cities from elsewhere, but particularly homeless and other vulnerable people in cities, look at youth homeless. A pretty large chunk of those people who end up in cities were failed in some other parts of this country. Okay, in the fraction of youth homeless who are LGBTQ, whatever, pretty high. So there are a lot of families in this country who fail the first duty of family, which is to love your kids more than any other thing, and there's a lot of families in this country that look at some verse in some book, and their child's face, and choose theSecond screenshot says: “verse in the book over their child's face, and drive their children out of Nebraska or out of Florida or out of Idaho, and those kids come to San Francisco, and those kids come to New York, and those kids go to Chicago, and we have friends giving dinners with them. You live in L.A. You are surrounded by people who have those kind of stories, and so cities. Every time someone is sleeping on a subway bench in a city, the rest of America can sort of say, "Ah, look at these cities.” But we are holding a lot of your people who you fail to love and take care of.

WTAF, Maclean’s. “The Man Who Wants to Break Up Canada” reads like a saccharine ode to Jeffrey Rath. A judge froze $8M+ in his assets over allegations he misappropriated First Nations trust funds. There are at least 10 legal complaints against him. It's some very strange editorial judgment. 😡

Jeffrey Rath jump-started Alberta’s dormant separatist movement. Now the country is about to face a moment of reckoning that he helped engineer.

Woman Leaving the Psychoanalyst botfrens.com/collections/69/content…
"Woman Leaving the Psychoanalyst" by Remedios Varo depicts a cloaked figure with ethereal, swirling hair, symbolizing transformation and introspection. Carrying a translucent mask and a fishbowl, the artwork delves into themes of identity and self-discovery, hallmarks of Varos' imaginative surrealism.

As Alberta and Ontario create a two-tier health care system, one for the rich and one for the rest of us, the Carney Liberal government does nothing to enforce the Canada Health Act, because for them, profit is the answer to everything.

Carney has a habit of outright lying to us. Mark Carney says privatizing Canada’s busiest airports will lower costs for consumers. Evidence shows the opposite www.thestar.com/gift-redeem?...
The self-sufficient airports, which effectively are annuities, aren’t in need of investment capital. It’s housing, critical minerals extraction and processing, and energy and transportation infrastructure that’s in need of capital.

Carney has tried to sell his idea as an affordability measure that would reduce airfares.

“The evidence shows travel costs go down over time,” Carney had said.

But the evidence shows the contrary. From Britain to Australia, competition authorities have found that after privatization, fees have risen for airlines, which pass them along to travelers. In some years, the privatized Heathrow tops the list as the world’s most expensive airport.
