haven’t read or cared about anything - but I don’t really see why Gaster and Dess need to be connected. Dess was a tragedy looming like a shadow over Hometown - Gaster seems to be the physical representation of a fundamental aspect of storytelling, physically bending characters towards conclusions.

Good thread. In the American Ruhr that used to stretch from Buffalo to Duluth to St. Louis they used to call this kind of thing "metal sense;" an entire ecosystem of workers, companies, knowledge, and culture that built North America's 20th century industrial might. Mostly gone now.

A while ago I hazily dreamed up a thing I called “Etruscan Flavor Ice Cream”. Another weird flavor from the Midwest like Blue Moon and Superman. Named because it looked like - to me - Etruscan brown marble. It would have been chocolate, marshmallow fluff, and caramel or toffee.

There was an exhibition on campus that made me cry today. It was a showcase of 50 years worth of news clippings of Seattle Gay News. Left a QR code for visibility. It's extremely important rn to see how far we've come, what battles we've won and lost over the years, also some banger pics too lmao

It was easily spread through anal sex and was especially deadly and rapidly spread among gay men during the 80s. To put this in perspective, just over 7 million people have died to COVID since 2020.
