Such a crucial point. The climate crisis makes impact assessment much easier - just stop extracting fossil fuels.
Screenshot from LinkedIn post shared in list below. Text reads:
We must stop pretending these questions require endless consultations, impact assessments, strategies, taskforces and glossy documents promising that everything will somehow be fine.

The atmosphere does not respond to ministerial announcements. CO₂ molecules are unmoved by accounting fiddles.

We have normalised the extraordinary: We announce a legally binding net-zero target while approving new fossil-fuel infrastructure. We acknowledge the climate emergency while expanding airports. We insist that every tonne of emissions matters while authorising projects designed to produce more of them. We talk about being a world leader on climate while continuing to search for ways of extracting and burning more fossil fuels.

This is not a communications exercise or a branding problem.

Trojan horse depicted on the Mykonos vase ca. 675 BC, so around the time of the Odyssey and Iliad. Found with human bones inside (like the horse!) and now in the Archaeological Museum of Mykonos. Image shows the horse with little windows in its side so you can see the men waiting inside.

People aren't seeking diagnosis for designer purposes. They're doing it because they legimitately are, or think they are. Those who aren't are almost always being filtered out and redirected, and those who are are being diagnosed as required.

The report so far concludes that these services have seen a massive uptick in consultations and support because people- particularly young people- are struggling with poor mental health, and because of awareness. People are more aware than ever of neurodiversity, and to some it resonates.
