I look forward to the new one of these every year. Listen to them all in a row and it’s easily the highlight of October.

Got called a Nathan Fielder skit today and it's the nicest thing anyone has said to me in a while.

Nathan Fielder really is the Baba is You of HBO, I'm learning.

You should do yourself a favor and get into 70s anime.

That said, I do wish they'd emphasize other elements as well. The remake sorta makes Akane's character revolve around Ranma more than the original, which left room to explore other traits. You can learn all about it on my hit podcast that you too can be a part of! www.youtube.com/shorts/VUZ7M...

The manga treated Akane's cooking as a punchline, wheras the remake telegraphed it in advance, even throwing in the extra joke of Kasumi giving Ranma stomach pills. The remake rarely deviates from the manga, but when it does, it's consistently to emphasize the main ship.

New episode of Remake Ranma opens with several minutes of original content, followed by a remake of a non-canon joke from the classic anime's first season they managed to sneak in here. In your face, faithfulness puritans!

Next rerank special have a doubles gimmick where you pick two blorbos and they go up and down in rank together. Will your ship shine as a pair, or bring each other down?

If the Gen Z Otaku can forget Haruhi Suzumiya we can stamp out the cultural memory of Harry Potter within a generation.

You can pick a winner. You can pick a flop. Arbitrary challenges up to the top. Maybe you just hate them. Maybe they’re your wife. Who you pick could be the meaning of your life. Try to host a podcast. Try to watch them all. Cheer or boo your favourite blorbo it’s your call.

Just remember that whenever anyone in your chat talks to you about Nuzlocke rules, 80% of them are freak sickos who haven't touched a vanilla Nuzlocke in like a decade, so it's fine to ignore them all.

A world where a twist ending is repurposed as a video title. where a thing's climax has been removed, leaving an advertisment for the gap where it used to be. such things are commonplace in. the twilight zone

Saying "it was the 90s" doesn't make it okay, but we all know the kind of environment he grew up in. He's become a much more empathetic person as he grew older and gotten to interact with more people, and that's what counts. He refuses to say the line at cons now, even as a joke.

Scenes such as this where the light is reflecting on the water are accomplished through a process called "backlighting", "underlighting" or "bipack glow". To create the effect a matte is cut and light is shone through the holes.
