MAO Ep 26 - The season conclusion. Yurako tells Nanoka of her past, revealing that she was kept locked away by the Goko Clan and upon escaping encountered Mao, the first person that ever showed her kindness. Nanoka is unsure if she is worthy of Mao's attentions after hearing Yurako's plight.

Looking at the deleted scenes from the second Ranma 1/2 film, we can see the context for the pin Ranma holds at the end. The scenes of Cologne explaining that feeling real pain using the pin will allow Ranma to see through Toma's illusions never made it past the storyboards.

Takahashi: There was definitely a tendency to ask, "why are you drawing shonen manga if you are a woman?" Even so, Machiko Satonaka was collaborating with Mizushima, and Masako Yashiro was drawing a few comics for shonen magazines. There were also Tamiki Noda and Noriko Kikuchi.

Tremendously sad to hear of the passing of Peter Cullen, Optimus Prime, a voice so well known to so many of us since childhood. Maison Ikkoku and Transformers aired at the same time in Japan, and were both so beloved this artwork was produced in 1986. Rest in Peace Mr. Cullen.
