Your occasional reminder: Never forget, just because a game is running in an emulator doesn't mean it's running correctly & even if it is running as intended, the default settings can still be completely wrong

Things most people outside of Japan aren't aware of & can barely fathom but you can start to work out for yourself with the ACA port As you play an internal timer increases. This timer decides all enemy spawns that will occur in a section. Shooting enemy Radars reduces it slightly. In theory.....

Question for console modders: I had two Sega 32xes that would boot and play games from an Everdrive mostly fine, but would not boot official carts. They both work totally fine now that I cleaned and reseated the ribbon cables, but does anyone know the technical reason why they behaved like that?
