Wasn’t expecting much with clear sky and low °C so 221/81 was a surprise. Excellent trap overall, best for me was a Dark Crimson, Delicate and Y. parenthesella all NFY. Ni Moth, Palpita vitrealis and 5 Vestal were best of the large numbers of migrants. Ancylis badiana is a long overdue NFG #teammoth

Mainly searching for clovers along the coast on foot today, but a short visit to Titchfield Haven yielded Little Gull and Roseate Tern! Both digi-binned! #PWC2026 #LowCarbonBirding
Little Gull sat on shingle on the edge of a scrape. It has a black head, short black bill, pale grey upper parts and white underparts. It has mostly white primaries with a tint black splodge. There are larger Black-headed Gulls next to it which are similar but have dark brown hoods and black primaries. Roseate Tern on a wooden post. It is pale with white underparts that have a pinkish tinge, pale grey upper part, black bill and black cap.
