I had no idea just how much concussion affects your life when you suffer a blow to the head. Unless it happens to you, it is easy to be ignorant about it. I'm happy that I am starting to feel more like my normal self again after some time recovering though. I've been lucky all things considered

These glorious editions were my entry point into Warhammer. I remember seeing a friend's copy of the 4th edition WFB with his high elves and goblins miniatures and I was hooked. I do miss how colourful and charming Warhammer was in the 90s.

This essay is about Hungary, but Latin played a similar role in the Polish-Lithunian Commonwealth. In the 17th c., the rebel Cossack leader Bohdan Khmelnytsky - who Russians like to claim as their own - 'had letters in Muscovite dialect translated into Latin'.

I really enjoyed being a guest on Mike's excellent show on Chateau-Gaillard. Having watched the finished product I would definitely recommend it! He's a great historian and presenter. Having the opportunity to do filming in such a fantastic location was a great experience.
