someone asked how Tenma's "sleeves" work on her new design and I realized I should probably draw up an explanation... they're silly and make little sense but it helps to think of them as just another extravagant accessory lol 😤

My current problem with Arjun in Street Fighter.

Like compare how Arjun does his attacks with Marisa
Marisa is powerful but she's doing her attacks with pure skill and her natural strength
Arjun's strength is meant to look strange
Arjun isn't meant to be a big guy (with love)
He's a strange brown man with weird magic that makes him scary and dangerous
The exact same way that Dhalsim was characterized in SF2
Even Zangief is done with love
The way Street Fighter empowers Arjun is meant to make him look like he's a scary dangerous foreigner
And for a series with one other Indian character with the same problem
It's really fucking disappointing

the complexity has to live *somewhere*, and i also find the 8 button layouts kinda cursed kyanta 2 is probably my favorite motionless game, and it was very clearly designed to be like that from the jump, so it plays...really good! even on stick!

i've found it incredibly awkward to play any game that features one button specials. motion inputs reduce the overall number of buttons required to play a fighting game, and depending on the specific title, equitably distributes the wear and tear amongst both hands

Very late to this Spider-Lass trend but better late than never. I've loved so much of the art I've seen so far so I wanted to put my own spin (ha!) on it.
