The "western world" has to pretend it exists because if not then Europe isn't a continent it's just a peninsula of Asia. Then colonisation did not bring civilisation, it brought pain and strife to pre-existing societies. Then war with "the east" isn't an echo in the history going back to "our" past.

My struggle towards transfemininity is that I subconsciously, or rather consciously tie being feminine with being vulnerable. And I'm scared of being vulnerable and fragile even tho I'm already those things. I keep thinking about how if anyone decides to break me, it wouldn't be hard for them at all
