The Six Spoons of Matthews' moods. Special Magical items found only in the horde of the Elves long past, in deepest recesses of the forests, in the ruins of the shining cities which one thronged with the life of those who sung in joy at the rising of each new sun.

Plotting a book the A-Team way... writing advice from 2015 over on Fantasy-Faction. I think it stands up as one method to consider. I was reminded of this tonight as I talked to a friend. fantasy-faction.com/2015/plottin...

Writing again and returning to a character I love so so much - Corin Hayes. Onto Book 5 which hit 5,500 words this evening and I have plan... always start Corin books with no plan and everything one falls into my lap by around 5 to 10k words. Apologies for Corin's language 😀 #amwriting #writing

Was just dozing off when the plot of Corin Hayes book 5 appeared in my head... just like that... and luckily, I keep a journal and a pen next to the bed. All scribbled down!! #writerslife

I'm experimenting with Facebook ads while trying to see how this new fangled TikTok works... never too old to learn new things (and be confused by them). 😀

Been out for a run. Slow in the dark and cold, but a run nonetheless... Stubborn.

Yesterday's ParkRun in Greenwich. It was a good course... not calling it a Hill but instead a gentle rise followed by a lovely Downrise (can't call it hill) section... and a 5km time of 26.50 according to my watch. Also, the photographer managed to capture all my chins in the finish line photo.

Decides to start up Return to Moria... and promptly got lost, made a pickaxe, killed a rat, cooked it and ate it. Very stereotypical, Rat on a Stick, and also the wrong franchise.

If you don't know already, use typos like other people use swear words... constantly and accidently. Hinest.

It's great to see Corin Hayes getting a little love on Fantasy-Faction If you love scifi with sarcasm and an underwater setting then there's Kindle, Audiobook, and even paperbacks should you wish to support a poor starving author (teacher too -- if that sways you). mybook.to/HayesOmnibus

Getting to the end of the book I'm writing. A chapter or two to go and I have to remind myself I've come a long way since I started. Published a book Have a supportive agent Have people who enjoy my books. And still think I'm no good at this sometimes -- BUT I've got this! I do!

I do love some good book art! The covers for my fantasy novels, The Traitor God and God of Broken Things were done by Jan Weßbecher.
