Sure, I can make a distinction between MiSTer cores that are pure vibe coded MAME ports vs. ones that use some mix of LLM and human engineering, but the whole promise of the MiSTer that excited me was reproductions of hardware from sickos who were decapping ICs, not "good enough" emulation on FPGAs
