Yes, Obsession is a comedy. There is a popular subgenre called horror-comedy. Because sometimes scary stories can be funny. Media literacy!

@zohrankmamdani.bsky.social @mayor.nyc.gov I’m currently substitute teaching and have worked at countless nyc schools, mostly in Brooklyn. More often than not, the water fountains don’t work or are otherwise substandard. Can somebody please do something about this? It’s a health/safety issue

A terrible wrong has been made right
Facebook screenshot of a New York Times article stating that “Sunkist Fruit Gems, a beloved kosher jelly candy and Bar Mitzvah staple, has been salvaged from discontinuation after finding a new manufacturer in Candyrific.”

The headline reads “Sunkist Fruit Gems, Bar Mitzvah Staple, Gets 2nd Chance After Discontinuation”

This man is a monster. He seeks out women survivors because he hates them. And he hates them because he hates himself. He has harassed me and other women survivors many times over the years. It must end. He should never have a job anywhere.

These privileged frat bros gang raped a girl and invited others to join in for SEVEN HOURS. The story was buried, only two were expelled, and we are only hearing about it now because the victim is suing. Cornell, the police, and the system protected them. The Cornell Seven:

why I might name my future kid Jordan 1. It’s gender neutral so whatever we have it works 2. Jordan is a cool name for a boy 3. Jordan is a cute name for a girl 4. I can’t lisp it 5. honors Birds of Prey™️ co-creator Jordan B. Gorfinkel, who gave me one of my first comics jobs (marketing internship)

an important bit of context to the choosin texas discourse as it relates to me is that you simply just don’t hear country music of any kind in the wild in NYC. they’re not playing that song in the grocery store here

Nor’Easter is heading towards the east coast so reminder that if you have any other option DO NOT put your body in flood water. It has raw sewage, gasoline, chemicals, medical waste, radiological waste and more — anything the water touches. People die from infections after contact with it.

I'd love to see the comics community speak out more loudly about Lichtenstein, because most people outside our little world genuinely don't know the extent of his harm, even if they've heard murmuring about his plagiarism

Anyone can listen to “Float On” and hear a great song, but it’s so much richer when you listen to the rest of Modest Mouse’s discography. To think Isaac Brock, who had mostly written music about the depths of depression, addiction, etc, wrote this ode to optimism sometimes brings a tear to my eye

It was removed from Tubu. Heebee sold the IP. Poodee won't play it in your region. It's not on Dippy. You can't find it on Weeno. Gumpy lost the rights to Pheebo. Poob was removed from the app store. The FBI have issued a warning to Poob. 3 Poob executives were arrested today.
